BANKING THE FUTURE: LEVERAGING THE PRESENT TO SHAPE TOMORROW´S FINANCE

This introductory seminar offers a comprehensive overview of modern finance and banking. Students will explore current financial policies to better understand today’s economic landscape and anticipate future developments.

The course is designed to equip students with essential skills to analyse and interpret financial stability data. It covers key topics such as banking operations and risks, regulatory frameworks, risk assessment and the role of financial stability in the broader economy.

A central focus of the course is the careful analysis and interpretation of financial risks. A strong emphasis is placed on real-world applications, including the supervision of Europe’s largest and most complex financial institutions, as well as the management of financial crises.

By the end of the seminar, students will have a solid foundation in banking and finance, enabling them to understand current and future emerging trends and their impact on the real economy and business environments.
