04 Nov COURAGE, CREATIVITY AND WILLPOWER
In the late 1980s, scientists built the Biosphere 2, a massive 3.14-acre dome in the Arizona Desert. The project was originally meant to demonstrate the viability of closed ecological systems to support and maintain human life in outer space and be used in space colonization. It turned out that trees grew faster and taller inside the dome than those outside, but they also collapsed prematurely. The reason? A lack of wind. Without the stress caused by the wind, the trees couldn’t develop the strength to survive and prosper.
Like those trees, we need challenges to grow and become our better selves. Pain, uncertainty, and hard work are unavoidable in life but are also the keys to our greatest opportunities. This seminar will explore how courage and vulnerability can be harnessed to turn adversity into your superpower.
Using the science of neuroplasticity and positive psychology, you’ll discover practical tools to rewire your brain, build resilience, and thrive in the face of life’s challenges. You will learn how to transform stress into strength and unleash your true potential.
